Decorative lighting of The Megyeri Bridge
We successfully installed the decorative lighting of The Megyeri Bridge, previously known as the Northern M0 Danube bridge (Budapest, Hungary). The lighting system installed on the top of the two pylons was exclusively designed and implemented by Ledium Ltd. from variable lenght of LED sections.
The low voltage LED lamps are connected to the DC transformers with redundant wiring, hence an occurrent defection of the wires doesn't spin off the lighting. In the lamps we installed 2 to 4 independent circuits. If there will be any damage in a LED or LED section, there will be no dark breaks in the light strip, only the intensity will be reduced.
The LED profiles are fully potted with a new special resin which protects the lightsources from the UV radiation of the sunlight.
The total power consumption is 375 watts.
